Calliope has developed a number of resources to support event planners and speakers as they prepare for multilingual events.
Hear From Our Clients
The Delegations Division at Keren Hayesod has been working with Gisèle Abazon from Calliope for many years with great success.
Gisèle provides a professional, courteous, fast and high-level service. The interpretation services are tailored to the target audience and Gisèle always makes sure to send a very professional team of interpreters to our complete satisfaction.
One of the main objectives of the 4th edition of “Building the Future” was to make it more inclusive and accessible. To achieve this, the organisers of the event, which is the most important in Portugal devoted to the digital transformation, counted on the help of Calliope to supply sign language interpretation.
The partnership we enjoyed with Laurence Corréard and her team was characterised by professionalism, availability and commitment. The days were long with numerous challenges to be overcome, and without that extraordinary team it would have been impossible for us to achieve our goals and reach so many people.
Thank you for your friendship and your inspiration!
It has been a pleasure to work with Patrick Delhaye, of Calliope Interpreters, for the 3rd Clean Pacific Roundtable, and with a team that has been so organized, aware, and capable in all aspects of preparing and delivering these sessions. Having a partner that was so qualified and experienced in all aspects of delivering an event was a privilege. Your thoughtfulness, patience, and reminders with the materials and calendar invites were much appreciated. And equally, your thoughtfulness, patience, and agility with the technology were admired.
Over the last two complicated years, we have had to radically change the way we organise our scientific and assembly meetings. Calliope-Interpreters and Claudia Ricci have proved indispensable in making this possible.
We had already worked with Claudia for many years, and had grown accustomed to her outstanding interpretation services and expertise in medical and scientific translation. In addition, she has now developed a full service for managing online conferences and meetings: she provides the interpretation platform, sends out invitations in advance and hosts the online meeting. This all-inclusive package is competitive and – even more importantly – impeccable.
Working on this ambitious project with Verónica Pérez Guarnieri, from Calliope-Interpreters, was an incredible experience. The World Live Neurosurgery Conference was held in a hybrid format from 20 to 22 October 2021: neurosurgeons in Buenos Aires, Shanghai and Istanbul broadcast live from the operating theatre to a physical audience of academics, their words interpreted remotely by teams of interpreters in Berlin and Buenos Aires to cater for the different time zones. Verónica not only recruited specialised teams of interpreters, many of them also qualified medical doctors, but also coordinated the highly complex interpreting arrangements. The Calliope-Interpreters team was highly professional and always willing to go the extra mile, for example if a live surgery took longer than scheduled. We are hugely grateful to Verónica and her team for their consummate professionalism, expertise and flexibility.
